CM von Hausswolff
The biography of CM von Hausswolff is one that reads like a jack of all trades biography, not only of his musical works and sound art, but also of fine art, installations, conceptual works, exhibits and live performances. He is perhaps best known as one of the “Kings” along with other King, Leif Elggren in the project known as KREV (the Kingdoms of Elgaland and Vargaland). A country with no borders but also no official place in the UN. It’s an assembly that has fully devoted itself to all things art, music and craft with its citizens spanning the globe as established Ministries all have their own self-proclaimed titles. In 1986, he formed the Swedish independent label Radium 226.05 and in 1990 he formed the label Anckarström. Yet he has managed to have releases on every label from Touch. (UK) to Raster Noton and many others in between.
